✨ ASTRA · early access
A showcase template: a dark theme, one question per screen, a landing page for early access. It shows how far the styling of a survey can go.
Who it is for and when to run it
This is a demonstration template. It shows how far a survey’s look can move away from a white form with boxes. A fictional product, ASTRA, collects an early-access waitlist, and the whole form is styled like a launch landing page.
Use it if you’re launching a product, a closed beta, a cohort-based course or an event with limited seats, and the form has to look like part of the brand. The questions are simple; the value of the template is in the styling settings you can take apart and reuse.
What the template is made of
Every block in the order it sits in the builder. Branching decides which of them a given person actually sees.
- Welcome to ASTRA ✨ Text block
The first screen works like a landing page hero: a headline, the promise of «4 questions» and a note that access opens in waves. It sets the tone before the first question.
- What would you like to automate first? Cards
Emoji cards for picking a use case. On a dark background large cards read better than a small list, and the answer segments the waitlist right away.
- How much does the idea appeal to you? Emoji rating
An emoji scale for «how much does the idea appeal to you». An easy question that shows how warm the interest is, and so whom to invite first.
- How big is your team? Single choice
Team size, to see who’s in the queue: solo users or companies.
- Where should we send the invite? Email
The invite email, required, since a waitlist is useless without it.
- Consent to emails Consent
A separate consent to early-access emails, with the promise that people can unsubscribe at any time.
How to adapt the template
-
The theme is dark, with a violet accent and a gradient from deep navy to violet. A custom accent colour and custom background unlock on the Pro plan; on the free plan you can pick one of the ready-made themes.
-
The layout is set separately for desktop and mobile: on a wide screen the question card takes the left 42% and is centred vertically; on a phone it stretches almost full width and sits at the top. Adjust these values in the layout settings to suit your background.
-
One question per screen, with a slide-up entrance animation. With four questions it feels like a short flow rather than a form.
-
The ASTRA lettering in the bottom-right corner is a text watermark at 6% opacity. Change the text to your product name or remove it.
-
If you’re collecting a real waitlist, connect a webhook so new emails go straight to your mailing tool or CRM. The service itself doesn’t send emails.
How to read the results
A waitlist is easiest to work through in a CSV export: sort by the interest scale and by use case. People with the highest score and a clear use case are good candidates for the first wave.
The team-size split tells you whom to talk to first: if the queue is mostly teams of 11–50, shape your first interviews and pricing around them.
Common mistakes
- Loading a beautiful form with too many questions. Styling draws people in, but eight screens in a row still get abandoned.
- Checking the layout on desktop only. Much of the traffic from social media is on phones, so the mobile layout needs its own review.
Questions about the «✨ ASTRA · early access» template
Can I style a survey in my brand colours?
Yes. You can pick a theme, corner radius, entrance animation, a watermark and where the question card sits, separately for desktop and mobile. A custom accent colour and custom background unlock on the Pro plan.
How do I build a waitlist form for a product launch?
Take this template, replace the use cases in the first question with your own, and keep the required email and email consent. Publish it as a link or a widget on your landing page, and pass new sign-ups to your mailing tool through a webhook.
What is the layout mode in a survey?
It controls where the question card sits on top of the background: margins, width and alignment. It’s set separately for wide screens and phones, so one form looks right on both.
