Quiz: test yourself
A quiz with right answers and a score on the final screen. Five questions, one minute, and no sign-up for the person answering.
Who it is for and when to run it
A short quiz for engagement: a community post, a channel contest, a warm-up before a webinar, a city walk with QR codes at each stop. The example is about Moscow, but that’s just content; the structure works the same for questions about your company, a film or a product.
There’s no sign-up, and that’s the point: five questions, a minute, a score. If you want the result in exchange for contact details, use the lead-gen quiz; for a knowledge check with a mistake review, the training test.
What the template is made of
Every block in the order it sits in the builder. Branching decides which of them a given person actually sees.
- Quiz: how well do you know Moscow? Text block
The start screen promises five questions and one minute. A concrete number removes the fear of a long form.
- How many railway terminals does Moscow have? Single choice
The first question has three numbers to choose from. Numeric options suit a quiz: the answer is right or wrong, with no arguing over wording.
- Which Moscow district has the largest population? Single choice
Which district has the largest population, with three names. Local knowledge pulls people in more than general facts.
- How tall is the Ostankino Tower? Single choice
The Ostankino Tower’s height: 320, 540 or 627 m. The options are far enough apart that guessing is hard and the reveal is fun.
- In which year did the Moscow Metro open? Single choice
The year the Metro opened: 1925, 1935 or 1955. Ten-year steps test knowledge rather than luck.
- How many rings does the Moscow Central Circle have? Single choice
How many rings the Moscow Central Circle has. A trick in the name lightens the pace before the end.
- Done! Text block
The final screen thanks people and points to the score, which quiz mode calculates: every question in the answer key is worth one point.
How to adapt the template
-
Replace the five questions with yours, then open the answer key and mark the correct option again for each one. Editing an option can clear its mark.
-
Change question types if you like: a dropdown, image choice or a short text answer with several accepted spellings can all be scored.
-
Give hard questions two or three points instead of one. Points are set per question.
-
Switch to one question per screen: on a phone the quiz moves faster and feels like a game.
-
For a contest, add a contact question at the end, and say so on the first screen.
How to read the results
In your account, check the share of correct answers per question. If almost everyone got one right, it’s too easy; if everyone got it wrong the same way, the wording is probably ambiguous.
The distribution of final scores shows overall difficulty. If most people hit the maximum, the quiz won’t hold attention; add one harder question.
Compare starts with completions. With five questions, a noticeable drop usually points to one specific step, which the per-question view makes obvious.
Common mistakes
- Publishing without checking facts. The template is an example and its answers need checking too: Moscow opened a new railway terminal, Vostochny, in 2021, so the terminal-count question is best reworded or replaced.
- Writing options where the right one stands out by length or phrasing.
- Replacing the questions and forgetting the answer key: the quiz still runs but shows everyone zero.
- Making a twenty-question quiz for social media. Short quizzes get finished; long ones get closed.
Questions about the «Quiz: test yourself» template
How do I make a quiz with correct answers?
Open the template, swap in your questions and options, then mark the right option for each question in the answer key. Points are added automatically and the participant sees the total on the final screen. Share it as a link, a QR code or a website widget.
Can different questions be worth different points?
Yes. Points are set per question; the template gives one point each. Make a hard question worth three and a warm-up worth one, and the total reflects knowledge more accurately.
Do quiz participants need to sign up?
No. They open the link and answer, no account needed. Contact details are collected only if you add a question for them yourself.
