A light personality test

Seven agreement scales and three different endings: every profile gets its own screen. A clear example of a graph leading to different outcomes.

Who it is for and when to run it

A light quiz for content, not for psychological assessment. Media and creators use this format for engagement, HR teams for team-building, schools and courses as a warm-up. “Connector, Strategist or Experimenter” is meant to start a conversation, not to deliver a verdict.

It’s also a clear example of a logic graph: on the canvas you can see one answer sending people to three different endings. If you’re building your own quiz with outcomes, open this one first to see how it’s wired.

What the template is made of

Every block in the order it sits in the builder. Branching decides which of them a given person actually sees.

  1. What are you like today? Text block

The intro, “What are you like today?”, plus a nudge to answer on instinct. “Today” keeps it light: the result is a mood, not a diagnosis.

  2. Being around people energises me Likert scale

Agreement with “Being around people energises me”. Like the other six statements, it records a self-description for your analytics.

  3. I like to plan my day in advance Likert scale

    Planning the day in advance.

  4. I am willing to take risks for a new experience Likert scale

Willingness to take risks for a new experience.

  5. I often trust my intuition over arguments Likert scale

    Intuition versus arguments.

  6. It matters to me to get things perfect Likert scale

    Wanting things perfect.

  7. I prefer a calm pace of life Likert scale

Preferring a calm pace of life.

  8. I switch between tasks easily Likert scale

Switching easily between tasks. The seven Likert scales don’t affect the route; their answers stay in the statistics.

  9. What feels closest right now? Cards

A card choice: “What feels closest right now?”. This required question decides the profile: each of the three options leads to its own result screen.

  10. Your profile: Connector Text block

The Connector result, for people who chose to get others together and talk.

  11. Your profile: Strategist Text block

The Strategist result, for people who chose a plan and steps.

  12. Your profile: Experimenter Text block

The Experimenter result, for people who try things hands-on.

How to adapt the template

  1. Rewrite the three profiles for your theme: “What kind of manager are you”, “Which learning format suits you”, “Which coffee matches your morning”. A name and one sentence per profile is enough.

  2. If you want the result to depend on the scales rather than one choice, draw transitions from them on the canvas. Mind the limits: up to three branches from one question on Free, unlimited on Pro.

  3. The number of distinct endings depends on the plan: one outcome on Free, up to five on Pro. Check before adding a fourth profile.

  4. Put an image and a “share your result” line on each result screen; that’s how quizzes like this spread.

  5. Use one question per screen, the natural rhythm for a personality quiz.

How to read the results

The first thing to look at is the split across the three profiles. If nearly everyone lands in one, the options in the deciding question aren’t equally appealing; rebalance the wording.

Read the Likert answers as a self-portrait of your audience: what share agrees with “I prefer a calm pace of life”. Useful for content and product ideas, but don’t turn one person’s answers into a personality score.

Compare scale answers with the chosen profile. If Strategists don’t differ from everyone else on the planning statement, the profile rests on a single question, and it’s worth knowing that.

Template

Common mistakes

  • Presenting the result as a scientific typology. It’s entertainment and should be framed that way.
  • Making one profile much more flattering than the others, so people pick the answer that gets it.
  • Adding profiles without checking the outcome limit on your plan.
  • Hiding the result behind a contact form without warning. If you need a contact, say so at the start.
Frequently asked questions

Questions about the «A light personality test» template

How do I make a personality quiz with different results?

Each result is a separate ending screen, and on the canvas you draw arrows from the deciding question to the right ending. In this template the card choice “What feels closest right now?” sets the profile, and its three options lead to three screens.

Do the agreement scales change the quiz result?

Not in this template: only the card question sets the route, while the seven scales collect a self-description for analytics. If you want scales to drive the result, add transitions from them to the endings on the canvas.

How many results can a quiz have?

It depends on the plan: one ending on Free, up to five on Pro, unlimited on Team and above. This template has three profiles, so check that number against your plan’s limit.
